Hi There!
My name is Cy. Yup just a two letter name. Not trying to be cool or anything lol.
My plan is to eventually enter dental school once I finish my coursework. Outside of my carrier aspirations I also have a plethora of hobbies and I love to stay active whenever I can! I’m a big believer in the work hard play hard mentality.
I’m a 3rd year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major (BCMB program) and I look forward to taking this class as an elective. It’s also nice to take a course that’s different from what I have been used to as most of my classes have been science based so it’s nice to break out of the mold this semester. I have a pretty good understanding of technology and engineering in general but haven’t given digital humanities much thought so I look forward to learning what it is all about!
Work hard play hard mentality
Outside of my academic pursuits in digital humanities, I am deeply passionate about staying active and embracing the great outdoors, particularly during the vibrant spring and summer months. My enthusiasm for physical challenges is evident as I avidly participate in triathlons and cycling races throughout the summer, pushing my limits and enjoying the thrill of competition. Water sports are another avenue of my adventurous spirit; I relish in wakeboarding and wakesurfing, immersing myself in the exhilaration of water-based activities. When winter rolls around, my adventurous spirit doesn’t wane; I transform into an avid skier, carving through snow-covered slopes and enjoying the crisp, chilly air. This blend of activities not only keeps me physically fit but also mentally rejuvenated, perfectly complementing my academic life in digital humanities
